These five questions help you prepare evidence and ask for specific feedback instead of repeating an exercise without knowing what changed.

In this guide

What is the actual task? What do you need to clarify first? What will count as evidence? Can you describe one observation? What is the next useful question?Match the exercise to your course

What is the actual task?

Name one exercise and its instruction before you begin. “Improve everything” does not give you a useful comparison. A paper-design exercise, an equipment-identification task and a supervised practical assignment require different preparation. Follow the material and supervision arrangements for the exercise you have been assigned.

What do you need to clarify first?

Separate something you can check in the lesson from something that needs the trainer’s answer. Do not substitute a social-media demonstration for a missing instruction. If a task involves an unfamiliar item or a practical step you cannot explain, record the uncertainty and ask before proceeding.

What will count as evidence?

Choose a small, comparable record: two dated drawings at the same scale, a labelled photograph of an approved practice piece, or a written answer to the assigned question. Describe the work accurately. A paper study is not a completed client treatment, and watching a lesson is not the same as demonstrating the skill.

Can you describe one observation?

Replace “it looks bad” with something visible, such as “the leaf spacing changes between the first and third versions.” An observation gives your trainer something specific to discuss. Avoid editing the photograph to conceal the point you want help with.

What is the next useful question?

A focused request includes the exercise, your numbered examples and the point you are unsure about. For example: “I completed three paper compositions from the same reference. Version B has more space around the main flower, but I cannot tell whether the outer leaves still compete with it. Which part should I simplify in the next study?” This fictional request asks for design feedback; it does not imply that the drawing is ready to tattoo.

Keep that question and the reply in a practice journal. At the next session, record what you changed rather than starting again without reference to the feedback.

Match the exercise to your course

Review the online tattoo course outline or compare the Canadian course catalogue to check the topics and practical requirements. If you are already studying, use the instructions for your enrolled course when preparing an assignment.

Ask the Skinart team about your learning plan if you need help choosing the course that fits your next learning goal.

Use five review questions to prepare body-art practice, label evidence clearly and turn an unanswered question into a useful tutor request.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[30

post-1172","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-skinart-team
["GET
