Welcome to Body Piercing (1)
Gary introduces the course and the responsibilities that come with piercing another person.
Put it into practice
- Begin with preparation, infection prevention and client care before studying individual placements.
- Read each written update, watch the video, then use the handbook to record decisions and questions.
- Practise handling and planning on models first. Live work requires appropriate supervision, readiness, consent and local permission.
- By the end of Part 1, aim to have a study plan, a verified supplies shortlist and a draft consultation and consent process.
