After scalp micropigmentation, you need clear aftercare instructions and a way to raise questions about recovery. This guide helps you organize that information and plan follow-up without treating a generic online timetable as an assessment of your scalp.
Leave With Instructions You Understand
Before leaving an appointment, ask for the aftercare instructions in writing and confirm whom to contact if anything is unclear. Explain any work, exercise or other commitments that may affect your ability to follow the plan.

- What activities should I avoid, and when should I ask about resuming them?
- Who answers aftercare questions and how can I reach them?
- What should prompt healthcare advice rather than waiting for a routine review?
If two sources give conflicting advice, ask the treating practitioner to clarify. Do not combine several online routines or add a product simply because another client used it.
Record Changes Without Judging the Final Result Too Early
Keep a brief record of questions and changes you want reviewed. If the practitioner requests photographs, use clear focus and consistent lighting, and explain when each photograph was taken.
An immediate photograph does not establish a healed outcome. Ask when appearance should be reviewed and which concerns should be raised sooner. Avoid interpreting a fixed day count or someone else’s photographs as proof that your recovery is on track.

Know Where to Take a Concern

If symptoms are worsening, you feel unwell or you are concerned about a reaction, seek healthcare advice promptly. A scheduled cosmetic review should not delay medical assessment. Contact the treating practitioner as well so they can provide relevant procedure and product information.
A photograph or an article cannot diagnose the cause of a change. Describe what you have noticed without assuming that it is normal or that it is only a pigment-retention issue.
Separate a Review From Further Treatment
Confirm the purpose of the follow-up appointment. A review is an opportunity to discuss recovery and appearance; it does not automatically mean more pigment should be added.
