Requirements for tattooing, piercing, permanent makeup (PMU), microblading and tattoo removal depend on the service and the country, state or local area where you intend to work. Before offering a service, ask the relevant local authority and your insurer which practitioner or premises permissions, training, certificates, hygiene standards and inspections apply. Check whether your chosen course and certificate meet those requirements, and arrange any separately required training or approvals.
