Essentials
Use a reliable internet connection to access the recorded lessons. Check the courseās equipment and supplies information before starting the practical assignments.
Assignment-Based Training for Practical Learning
Our online courses connect explanation with assigned work and practice. Follow the course instructions, keep your attempts and identify the questions you want to discuss with the team.
Hands-On Projects & Work Studies
Check the assignments in your selected course and complete them in the recommended order. Keep a short record of what you tried, what improved and what needs further work.
Learn Through Doing
Use each assignment to check your understanding and identify the next practice task. When something is unclear, ask a specific question with the relevant lesson or example of your work.
Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
Bloodborne pathogens (BBP) are pathogenic microorganisms that are present in human blood; these and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) can cause disease.
BBP learning covers exposure risks and prevention, personal protective equipment, sharps, waste and incident-response topics. Keep course completion separate from the workplace-specific instructions and requirements that apply to your role.
