Teach locally · Skinart training
Experienced tattoo artist? Apply to share your skills through a four-day in-person workshop alongside the Skinart online tattoo course.

A practical teaching role alongside online learning
Skinart is inviting tattoo artists to apply as local in-person trainers. The student still completes the online tattoo course and its requirements to receive the Skinart course certificate, and pays extra for a four-day practical workshop with a local artist.
Skinart supplies the workshop activities and guidance on what to cover and how to deliver it. You bring tattooing experience, a relevant portfolio, suitable studio arrangements and the ability to explain and demonstrate your work. You must hold a tattoo licence where your area requires one.
The four-day workshop complements the Skinart online tattoo course with practical guidance from an experienced artist. Agree dates, learner arrangements and commercial terms with Skinart before advertising places.
Start with the place where you would teach
Choose the country where your proposed studio is located. Each page explains what to include in your first enquiry and links to the local Skinart contact team.
If your country is not listed, use the international contact page and include your country, town and portfolio links.
Prepare a useful first introduction
Your work
Share your tattooing background and portfolio, with healed examples where available and permission to show them.
Your studio
Give the actual teaching location, your role there, available space and relevant equipment.
Your teaching
Explain your languages, mentoring experience and realistic availability for a four-day block.
Include relevant licensing or registration where required and any practical questions about your premises or insurance. Send a concise introduction first; do not include identity documents or private client records in an initial enquiry. An application starts a discussion rather than confirming appointment as a trainer.
Questions before you apply
Do I have to create a course myself?
Skinart supplies the online course and workshop activities with guidance for the practical teaching. You need to bring your tattooing experience and be able to explain techniques, demonstrate carefully and give constructive feedback.
Can I advertise dates or sell workshop places now?
Discuss the proposed studio, availability, responsibilities and commercial arrangements with Skinart first, then agree the dates and learner arrangements before advertising places.
Does the student still receive a Skinart certificate?
Yes, through the Skinart course and its completion requirements. The additional workshop does not replace the online course or act as a local licence.
