Free Line-Control Practice Sheet
FREE DRAWING PRACTICE PREVIEW
Explore line control with pencil and paper
Try three simple drawing exercises: join endpoints, follow curves and repeat a shape. Then note what you would try differently next time.

No sign-up needed. Download the PDF and print it on A4 paper at actual size (100%). Select the worksheet preview to open the optional SVG version.
Pencil or pen on paper only. This is a drawing exercise, not tattoo-machine instruction or a competence assessment.
How to use the sheet
- Land on the endpoint. Join each pair in one stroke. Repeat beside it and compare without retracing.
- Keep the curve continuous. Follow the pale curve once, then draw your own version in the empty space.
- Repeat a simple shape. Draw a small circle inside each frame. Aim for similar size rather than speed.
Notice which stroke felt most controlled and choose one thing to change next time. Keep the sheet to compare with your next session. Completing it does not establish readiness to tattoo a person.
New to drawing?
Prior drawing expertise is not required to begin learning. Technique, design judgement and safe practice still need to be learned. This sheet is a small introduction to deliberate paper practice.
