Get clear instructions before treatment

Ask the provider to explain care, expected changes and the planned review before an appointment. Keep the written instructions and the contact route for concerns. Tell them about relevant health information and previous treatment so they can assess suitability or arrange an appropriate referral.

Clarify what to do if instructions are unclear or conflict with advice you already received. Do not replace a personalised plan with an improvised routine from social media.

Distinguish early appearance from results
