Microblading Tools and Pigments: Before You Buy a Training Kit
Before buying a microblading kit, turn the course equipment requirements into an itemised list. Identify the exact tools and materials needed for your assigned exercises, then compare that list with the supplier’s offer. A large bundle or a premium label does not establish that every item is suitable for your course.
Separate the Techniques and Equipment
Check which technique the lesson covers and the tool it specifies. A supplier may use broad terms such as brow kit or PMU kit for products intended for different activities. Do not assume that a machine, manual tool or other accessory is interchangeable with the item named in your instructions.
Ask your tutor about unclear equipment names before purchasing. Include the lesson reference and exact product code in your question. The current course information should be your starting point for what is included and what you need to arrange separately.
Make an Itemised Comparison
Group the required items by purpose so you can see gaps and optional extras. Use the quantities in your assigned requirements rather than assuming that the contents of a promotional photograph are complete.

- Pigments and containers where required by the task.

For each item, record the product name, quantity, price and whether it is included in the bundle. Keep unanswered questions in a separate column. This comparison is a purchasing aid, not a complete treatment-room setup list.
Check Product and Compatibility Information
Ask the supplier to identify the manufacturer and exact model or product code. Obtain the instructions relevant to that product, including any compatibility and handling requirements. Similar-looking items should not be treated as equivalent without confirmation.
For components described as sterile or single-use, check that the delivered packaging and label match the ordered product and its stated use. Resolve damaged packaging, missing information or an unexplained substitution before using the item.
A higher price alone does not demonstrate that a tool is suitable, and a kit description should not replace the instructions needed to use its contents.
Keep Pigment Details With Your Records
Record the manufacturer, full product name, batch or lot details and expiry information. Retain the label and relevant manufacturer documents, including any available safety data sheet and storage or handling instructions.
Ask your tutor about the pigment specified for your exercise. Do not infer a suitable formulation from a shade name, a product photo or claims such as natural or premium. This buying guide does not provide colour-correction or mixing recipes.
