PMU Training Feedback: Prepare a Useful Progress Review
A useful progress review gives your PMU tutor enough context to understand the exercise and your question. You do not need a polished presentation. You need a clear record of what you tried, the part you are uncertain about and the guidance you have already received.
Choose One Question to Lead With
Name the lesson and the assigned task, then explain the point you want reviewed. “Please review the spacing in this drawing exercise” is easier to answer than “Is everything correct?” You can add related questions after the main issue is clear.
If you are unsure what the exercise requires, ask before completing more work. Include the instruction you are trying to understand so the tutor can address the same point.
Show the Exercise Clearly
Follow the course submission instructions. Include the whole exercise and any requested close-up views. Use clear focus and consistent lighting, and avoid image filters that obscure the details being assessed.
- State the practice material or type of exercise.
- Include the date and attempt number.
- Explain the aim of the task.
- Mention any previous feedback about the same issue.
Do not attach personal client information that is unnecessary for the question. Use the approved course support channel and follow its instructions for any sensitive material.
Describe What Changed
When you resubmit work, show how you responded to the previous advice. A short note such as “I repeated the drawing with the guide points you suggested” gives the tutor context for the next review.
Keep the earlier attempt. Replacing every file with the newest image makes it harder to follow the learning sequence. A dated record is more useful than a collection that shows only the best-looking results.
Turn the Reply Into an Action
Read the feedback alongside your work. Identify the next exercise or correction, then ask about anything you cannot explain in your own words. Do not assume that a brief positive comment approves every part of an exercise or means you should move beyond the assigned training.
Before the next review, check whether you have provided the evidence requested. Repeating the same submission without the missing views or notes can delay a useful answer.
Keep Expectations Clear
Before enrolling, ask how feedback is delivered, who reviews exercises and what the assessment process involves. If you are studying from Australia, include your time zone and usual availability when discussing support.
