SMP Machines and Pigments: A Training Equipment Checklist

Choose SMP training equipment against the assignment requirements and product information. A machine photograph, brand name or pigment colour on a screen does not give the complete specification. Begin with what the course requires, then compare what you own and what the selected kit includes.
Make an equipment list by task
| Group | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Machine and power arrangement | The specifications required for the assigned practical work. |
| Compatible components | The components specified by the lesson and their intended use. |
| Pigments | Product details and suitability for the task. |
| Practice material | The material taught in the assignment. |
| Consumables | Included quantities and replacement needs. |
Use the online scalp micropigmentation course equipment guidance alongside the supplier’s product information. Do not choose a substitute solely because it looks similar to a demonstration tool.
Check the equipment already owned
Write down the model, components and available product details. Send that information with the lesson name when asking whether an item suits the task. “I already have a machine” is less useful than identifying exactly what you own.
Avoid buying duplicates before the requirements are clear. If a specification is missing, ask the supplier or trainer rather than treating an online review as proof of compatibility.
Keep pigment information with the purchase
- Product and supplier or manufacturer name.
- Batch and expiry details where provided.
- Storage instructions supplied with the product.
- The assignment the material is intended for.
- Any unresolved suitability question to ask before use.
Keep the information available instead of discarding the packaging immediately. This checklist does not recommend a brand, colour or mixing method; those choices need the relevant course and product instructions.
Check what the offer includes
Compare the exact equipment list with your task list. Distinguish a course enrolment from an optional equipment kit, and confirm quantities rather than assuming that every item in a promotional image is supplied.
For Pay As You Go, establish which materials are required for the next practical stage. Keep the course payment, equipment cost and delivery arrangements clear before ordering additional items.
Use a three-column purchase record
| Column | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Already owned | Identify the items and their specifications. |
| Included | List the contents confirmed for the selected offer. |
| Still required | Record the item, task and unresolved question. |
Confirm the missing details before paying for replacements. Contact Skinart South Africa with your equipment list and current course stage. For a way to organise assigned practice, read the SMP study-routine guide.
